Is it our fortune or misery that we have a reservation in our country and we belong to some category?
In India reservation was given to people before Indian independence also when India was ruled by British people.
In 1908 reservation on the basis of caste and community is introduced by Britishers, in favor of caste and communities in administration. If we will check the records in the year 1858 also British People knew how to divide and rule India, and with this policy very intelligently they kept dividing India on the name of Religion and Caste and sub-caste.
But the tragedy of Mother India is that when the British People left they handed over India to such people who changed nothing what was started by British and Indian leaders and politicians kept ruling India with the same rules and principles of British people.
British people gave us a few good things and a few bad things.
British people gave us a few good things and a few bad things.
“Before Independence as well as after Independence also the sad story is that we never got any opposition party who wanted to change this.”
Now reservation is a part of politics. All political parties know that a divide-and-rule policy based on castes and religion will make them rich, and will always help them hide their corruption and bad deeds and they are following it religiously. Today now in India this has become a permanent method to give reservations on the basis of caste and religion to get more votes and no one has the authority and powers to stop this.
This leads to shrinking seats for merit and lowers the reputation of institutions by increasing the number of institution
As we can see reservation dilutes the efficiency and merits. Why we always had discussions about brain drain why don’t we go through the nerve of the reservation policy of India. The political instability of a nation and lack of opportunities are the two main causes of brain drain. As we see in the statistics no SC/ST CEO in India shows no reservation in any of the private companies.
“If we see America as we influenced by all its culture and trends we are opting. We would need to adopt some more from the American native black people, who were bullied a thousand times more harshly than our Dalits and still, they stand and created their own space in their respective society not by begging reservation but by remaining the same and reveal a society of being them.”
Now we Indians cannot change this without revolt and today revolt is not possible and not good for India, so better is for Indians should learn to ask the political parties and as well as tell them we want reservations everywhere only based on the collective salary of the family, not caste or religion.
Whatever may be the caste or religion, he is an Indian first and if he is poor and needy then only he should be given Reservation Benefits.
Whatever may be the caste or religion, he is an Indian first and if he is poor and needy then only he should be given Reservation Benefits.
The ground of reservation should be merit or economic criterion, not caste. We should ask political parties and leaders, why they do not support economic reservation as it will help every poor and needy Indian.
For political gains and votes political parties will keep the Ghost of Reservation alive forever, so it is better we Indians keep an eye and see that the reservation benefits are going to real and needy persons of India based on the economic status of the family, not the rich class of Indians who became rich using a reservation.
NEED A BOLD DECISION……………………………………
superb thought ,,,,,,,,,,,,,lets move forward,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and move up from these reservation things ,,,,,,,,be forward
ReplyDeletei do agree with u. The ground of reservation should be merit or economic criterion, because brain has nothing to do with caste it is a human genetic quality
ReplyDeleteyeah its true....we shoud move forward n stop giving reservation on grounds of caste...by giving reservation they r increasing the feeling of casteism rather than stoping it...it is also the denial of right of those who actually deserves that place.....
ReplyDeleteAlso the example of black americans is good.We should learn from them.
